These digital illustrations are part of a personal project. I wanted a twist on the traditional Cinderella storyline, so I brought her to the 21st Century and told the story from the Fairy Godmother's perspective. I went with a more desaturated color palette for these illustrations but incorporated texture throughout, from the wallpaper to the mermaid scales. I also wrote the text, developed the layout for each page and highlighted fun words that even pre-readers could follow along with.
